A story
My 13-year-old daughter was struggling in school.
Instead of focusing on what she was doing wrong, I told her:
"You're very determined. Even though this class is difficult for you, you're determined to do well."
I feel like that comment changed something between us.
She became much more open to hearing what I had to say.
Last night, our good night hug was so long, warm and real.
When we learn to see our children differently, they often begin to see themselves differently too.
What you will gain
Develop a more thoughtful understanding of your child's temperament, strengths, needs and current stage of growth.
Step back from managing today's behavior and reconnect with the deeper qualities and direction you want to develop.
Explore how the way you see your child, the atmosphere you create and the expectations you hold can affect growth.
Begin approaching everyday parenting with a steadier chinuch mindset, clearer goals and a stronger sense of direction.

What makes this different
Many parenting programs focus primarily on behavior.
Chinuch Compass begins with understanding.
When parents gain greater clarity about their role, their child, and the true goals of Chinuch, everything else becomes more effective.
Every principle rooted in Torah perspective.
Real situations from real parenting moments.
Ideas you can bring home that same week.
Space to think, integrate, and ask questions.
Submit your situations in advance and receive thoughtful guidance.
Parent experiences
Reflections from mothers who learned through the Mini-Series.
This course was so helpful for me in shifting from correcting misbehavior to focusing more on the way my home feels and how I interact with my daughter.
Instead of reacting, I am learning to remain calm and be curious. I keep catching myself and thinking: What is behind this behavior? Does my child need something?
What I found to be most empowering is that the entire curriculum was intensely Torah based, with every parenting concept being given over from a Torah source and a Torah personality. The course gave me strength and clear direction in my avodas Hashem tafkid of motherhood.
The Mini-Series was exactly what I needed to refocus on what real chinuch is and what I want it to be. It helped me stay calm during tantrums instead of getting emotionally run down by them. I feel all mothers would benefit from it tremendously!
How the programs fit together
The Mini-Series distills the core Torah hashkafa that runs throughout the complete Chinuch Compass approach. Foundations includes all of these teachings, revisits them in greater depth with additional sources and discussion, and adds the Nurtured Heart Approach® and other effective parenting techniques that help mothers put the hashkafa into practice.
The Mini-Series is the core of the approach in a focused format. Foundations teaches that same hashkafa more deeply and then gives you the practical methods, ongoing discussion, personal guidance and time needed to integrate it into daily family life.
If you decide to continue, everything you paid for the Mini-Series will be applied toward your Foundations tuition.
Learn at your own pace
All five recorded classes will be accessible August 31, so you can listen at your own pace. The recordings come from a five-part series originally taught live by Sirkie.
After Sukkos, participants will be invited to a focused live implementation Q&A on Zoom, with the option to submit questions anonymously in advance.
