Foundations is the flagship Chinuch Compass cohort — 16 core classes, 4 live Q&A and integration sessions, and one complete framework for responding to your child with calm authority, so daily struggles become opportunities for connection and growth.
The course material was reviewed in depth by R’ Eliyahu M. Klugman shlita, who encouraged Sirkie to continue teaching this approach.
“It literally changed my perspective on parenting and even shifted how I relate to myself. It really helped me see what I want to do as a parent and how to get there.”

Who it’s for
You’ve read the books. You’ve tried the charts. You’ve asked the Rav. And you still feel like you’re failing with this one child. You’re piecing together advice from a dozen sources and white-knuckling through each hard day, hoping something eventually clicks. Foundations is built for you — whether you’re home midday and join the live noon sessions, or you work and take the recording path.
This is for you if…
This is probably not for you if…
Not sure? Private guidance may be the better door right now.
Our core principles
Chinuch is more than rules, techniques, or managing day-to-day behavior. It begins with a mindset — a way of seeing our children with clarity, intention, and a genuine understanding of who they are.
“Today, few people realize that chinuch of children is an art that requires study and attentiveness.”
— R' Shlomo Wolbe zt”l
Each child has a unique derech. What works for one may not work for another. Our role is to observe carefully, understand their nature, and guide them along the path that fits them.
“Carefully study the spiritual make-up of the children Hashem gives you… this is the only way to direct each one on the path unique to him.”
— R' Samson Raphael Hirsch zt”l
Effective discipline doesn't come from pressure or harsh reactions. Children flourish when we respond with confidence, calm, and positivity — even when their behavior pushes our limits.
“The more the parents are confident and avoid anger and hostility, the more the children will obey.”
— R' Shlomo Hoffman zt”l
Growing a child's greatness doesn't start with correcting them. It starts with seeing their potential — and helping them see it too.
“Believing in the child is the strongest force that advances a child… staying calm and encouraging will resolve the blocks.”
— R' Shlomo Hoffman zt”l
What you’ll learn
“The information is presented clearly, and the sources quoted whetted my appetite for further exploration. I resonate with the clarity of the approach, and the atmosphere feels very safe for being vulnerable about parenting challenges. I also really appreciate the handouts.”
“Naming my children’s greatness has made a difference in my own groundedness — and gives my children broader shoulders. When I am on the lookout for positivity, it keeps me focused and gives me a direction for my own energy. Even in a challenging moment, it gives me the koach to find the underlying greatness.”
“I am noticing and recognizing greatness in ways I never did before — even small successes and small amounts of self-control. I have already recommended the program to someone with intense children, although it is valuable for all children.”
What’s included

“The piece about authority is making a tremendous difference with all four of my children, even the baby. I am learning to communicate limits with a firmness I did not have before, and my oldest is responding especially well. Sirkie pours tremendous value into this program, and the transformation possible when you implement the approach is priceless.”
“I am consciously putting my energy into the positive rather than the negative. I would recommend this program to parents looking for a derech in chinuch. Individual parenting sessions can cost far more, while this course can have a powerful impact.”
Bring a friend
When you enroll, you receive a personal referral code. Every friend who enrolls with it saves ₪250 / $80 on her tuition — and you receive ₪250 / $80 back for each one, with no limit. Your reward comes as a credit toward any balance or a refund once her enrollment is confirmed.
Learning alongside a friend gives you someone who shares the language, understands the work, and can help you bring it into everyday family life.
Real people, real results
“A year later I am still going strong. People look at me like I know what I'm doing. I don't panic when my son is falling apart at the park. I know how to teach my little kids the middos I want to teach them.”
“My daughter used to be my most complex child; now she tells me when she needs to reset before the explosions. A miracle.”
“My home is a much more positive environment. I feel calmer. My children are becoming more independent, more respectful, and more caring to each other.”
“I am stating requests and seeing the follow-through. I would recommend this program to anyone parenting—it is a holistic approach that can transform the entire home.”
Questions
That makes sense — most programs give you tips for specific situations instead of a framework that changes how you think. Foundations works on your mindset and your responses first, which is where lasting change actually begins.
Read the answerYes. The recording path is a real way to do the program, not a backup. You watch each session on your own time, bring your questions to the private group, and come to the Q&A sessions for direct time with me. You're a full member of the cohort.
Read the answerYes. There's so much confusion about how to parent a child before and after a diagnosis. This approach builds a child rather than breaking him, and it's used with tremendous results for children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Because it's fully in line with Torah hashkafa, it turns out that all children need this kind of chinuch.
Read the answerSimply — yes. It's always best when both parents learn together, but when one parent implements it (especially the mother), it creates major shifts in the parent-child dynamic and the whole atmosphere at home. Most often the father becomes curious about the changes and starts learning it too.
Read the answerThe principles apply from toddlers through teens — roughly 18 months to 18 years and beyond. We also learn to apply the approach to ourselves, so we grow our own greatness along the way.
Read the answerThat's worth a real conversation. Many mothers find that when they explain what they've already tried and why this is different — a framework rooted in Torah, not just techniques — their husbands see the value. You're welcome to share the materials with him before deciding.
